towndwarfУ меня друг приезжает на пост-док в Йерусалимский Универ, математик. Ищет дешевую комнату/квартиру. Ему лет 27. Классный парень. Секретарша ему порекомендовала следующее:

"regarding lodging:there is a small studio apartment, in Rehavia [a nice, well-established residential area, walking distance from the campus, or a short bus ride to the campus; walking distance to town center; 2 minutes away from any kind of shop you may want: laundry, coffee shops, flower shops, banks, book store and more, and yet quiet and pleasant], private entrance, equipped with double bed, large closet, small closet, desk, kitchenette with a small table, telephone. quiet residential street, one short block to several busses, coffee shops, laundry, banks, other conveniences.
The rent is $350 monthly , including city tax, building maintenance, water and electricity. The landlady is nice.
We've had guests stay several times in her studio apartments for different periods of time, and they were always quite happy. (We had a post-doc of Prof. Lubotzky stay there this past year, and he was very happy there).

Это верно относительно Гиват-Рама, но не Хар-ха-Цофим. Да и в Гиват-Рам из Рехавии не менее получаса топать.
А вообще, место довольно удобное, там живут многие из университетских.
Про цену и общие условия - если живший там говорит что нормально - то можно согласиться. Он же видел...
