Спасибо Тане М. за этот текст - попытку проанализировать разницу между Western World and Eastern World (сравниваются города в восточной Европе и центральные города России/Украины.)

Чего? "сравниваются города в восточной Европе и центральные города России/Украины" - это как понимать? Сравниваеться средний западноевропеец и житель восточной европы. Скажем, житель Маастрихта (Голландия), и Кировограда (Украина).

Гм. сколько времени жила ТА девочка ТАМ?
Дело в том, что ТАМ тоже есть нормальные люди :-) и обсуждение баб/мужиков, Ницше и идей экзистенциализма тоже возможно... правда конечно же, далеко не со всеми.
И 'перекос' твоей знакомой в сторону 'немытой России' видимо от того, что свою нишу она не нашла.

Она год работала HR managerom Nike в Амстердаме, кажеться, а сейчас - DHL где-то в Румынии. Айсекер. У нее с наблюдениями все ок. Я с ней, чесно говоря, согласна. А ты что, где-то в Европе дольше был? Поделись своими наблюдениями

поделился, смотри в правую колонку.
1. нужно понятьм, что ты (и она) не такие, как местные.
2. В 99% интересные местные не будут с вами/нами иметь дел по разным причинам + интересных надоо ещё и поискать.
3. в 98% то быдло, с которым ты в Киеве даже и не подумаешь общаться там носит приличную одежду и тебе кажется, что они 'вот она европа' но нет, они такое же быдло просто лучше одетое и более воспитанное.
4. я 2 года в Киеве. Только через 2 года ко мне 'притерпелись' на работе и стали рассказывать какие-то личные вещи, и это при том, что я 'практически свой'
5. 'копание картошки' просто абзац какое клёвое развлечение.
6. на тему 'don't give a damm'- это ОЧЕНЬ зависит от того на сколько долго ты знакома с человеком. должно пройти НЕ МЕНЕЕ 2х лет чтобы тебе действительно помогли.
7. друзья? Интересные люди здесь вкалывают по чёрному, у них есть уже устоявшийся круг друзей... точно также как и в Европе.
8. IMHO, tам люди с разносторонними интересами или студенты или богачи. Все остальные - среднее быдло, которое вкалывает по максиму, не оставляя на всяческие интересные activities практически ноль времени.
